Because Maruti is still many Indians’ first choice.
Long Story Short
Maruti is making yet another attempt to gain a foothold in the premium car category with the S-Cross.
Try and try until you succeed might be a phrase followed many, but it sure is an inspiration for Maruti Suzuki, which is repeatedly trying to gain credibility as a premium ‘car manufacturer’ in the country. And this time, it has placed its bet on the S-Cross, the premium flagship that was launched on August 5.
This diesel crossover will be available in 1.3-litre (dubbed DDiS 200) and 1.6-litre Multi-jet (dubbed DDiS 300) engine variants and will be sold exclusively via NEXA sales outlets. Interestingly, the company has launched 7 trims of Maruti S-Cross under DDiS 200 and DDiS 300. While the low-cost version DDiS 200 Sigma is priced at Rs 8.34 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi price); other variants of the car, namely Delta, Alpha and Zeta are priced between Rs 8.34-13.74 lakh.
In Delhi, you can take home DDiS 200 Delta for Rs 9.15 lakh, DDiS 200 Zeta for Rs 9.99 lakh, DDiS 200 Alpha for Rs 10.75 lakh, DDiS 320 Delta for Rs 11.99 lakh, DDiS 320 Zeta for Rs 12.99 lakh and DDiS 320 Alpha for Rs 13.74 lakh.
